             * SKILL BUILDERS    and  *TIPS
Our educational outreach program's mission is to introduce, inspire and train
the next generation of technical theatre artists to the dynamic and multi-faceted
world of theatre behind the scenes.

Our interns work on professional productions giving them the opportunity to work on larger,
 more dynamic projects and make professional contacts in the process. This program also builds
resumes and portfolios with professional citations, works, and references leading to
stronger college, job, trade and professional union applications

Our program is expanding every semester, we are currently technical directing/instructing in
over 30 Puget Sound secondary public schools,  private, colleges and independent youth theatre programs.
To find out more about how to bring a technical theatre professional into your classroom,
please

contact us at (206)420-5537 or
via e-mail Subject: Skills and TIPS  at info@seattlescenicstudios.org.
Cost vary on a sliding scale depending on budgets, time commitment and size of production.

We are always accepting resumes for qualified instructors to add to our pool and accomodate the programs
growing demand. Applicants should have minimum BA in Technical Theatre or equivalent professional experience,
some teaching experience and transportation.
