Our Educational Program, including Skill Builders and TIP's, has been a catalyst for many aspiring young Theatre Designers and Technicians for over 10 years. We are dedicated to assisting small non-profit organizations and the next generation of theatre artist in achieving their scenic dreams.
Theatre, Museum exhibits, Independent film, Special Events, Schools...... Scenery-entire sets or special elements, Props, Backdrops, Lighting, Motion Control, Design, Staging, Large Format Printing & Signage..... Steel, Wood, Foam Carving, Fabrics.......
A NOTE about our past fundraiser...
Seattle Scenic Studios' annual "SCENIC SPEAKEASY II" helped raise funds to support TIP's, our Technical Internship Program and Skill Builders.
For those of you not familiar, our unique Educational Program sends professional Scenic Designers, Lighting Designers, Lighting Technicians and Carpenters, into the Greater Seattle Area's schools to provide hands on learning to every aspect of proper, safe scenic construction, lighting design, lighting hang, scenic painting, even running a performance. TIP's furthers the experience to a 7-9 week program for students to learn their trade with professionals in their field of interest on professional local productions throught the Puget Sound area. Schools we have found possible future aspiring designers and techies Roosevelt HS, The Bush School, Islander MS, Tahoma MS, Youth Theatre Arts West, Storybook Theatre, Rainier Valley Youth Theatre....
